Most New Hampshire homeowners come to us for the same two things: a chimney sweep or an inspection. That makes sense in this part of New England. The heating season runs long, realistically October into April, and many fireplaces and wood stoves here are used as genuine heat sources, not just on holidays. A full season of regular burning builds creosote faster than occasional use does, which is why an annual sweep and inspection is the standard recommendation for wood-burning systems. Our chimney inspection is $69, and a sweep with inspection is $299.
The climate is also hard on the masonry itself. New Hampshire winters bring repeated freeze-thaw cycles, and a lot of the housing stock is older, with brick chimneys that have stood through decades of them. Water gets into small cracks in the crown or the mortar joints, freezes, expands, and slowly widens the damage. Catching that early is the cheapest way to deal with it, and there's no charge for a repair or masonry quote.
Gas fireplaces are common here too, and they're easy to neglect because they look like they need no upkeep. If yours won't light, cycles off on its own, or smells different than it used to, a $49 gas fireplace diagnostic will tell you what's actually going on.
You may not have seen our trucks around your neighborhood yet. The work, though, is the same work we've been doing since 1989. Find your city below to see local service details and request a visit.
